As a Chartered Psychologist and HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist, Anne-Marie practices within regulated professional standards and formal codes of ethics, ensuring accountability, safeguarding awareness, and evidence-based practice.

Her scope of practice includes:

• Independent psychological support for elite athletes, teams, and high-performance professionals
• One-to-one work with athletes, coaches, executives, and performers operating in high-stakes environments
• Psychological preparation for major competitions, championship environments, and career-defining moments
• Applied work with youth athletes and performance pathways, including safeguarding-aware practice with minors
• Supporting performers through pressure, confidence, identity, injury, transition, and burnout
• Psychological support in complex, high-risk performance environments, including touring and residential settings
• Crisis and critical-incident support within sport and high-performance systems
• Advising organisations on culture, leadership, and psychological performance environments
• Governance, design, and oversight of psychology provision within teams and high-performance programmes
• Supervision and mentoring of developing practitioners and sport science professionals

Elite Sport Background

Anne-Marie has toured worldwide with teams and has provided her psychological expertise and support to numerous sporting governing bodies such as Golf Ireland, Cricket Ireland, Cycling Ireland, Swim Ireland, Horse Sport Ireland and the GAA. 

She has prepared teams and athletes for success at World Cups, Walker Cups, All-Ireland Finals, National, European and World Championships, on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.

Anne-Marie is widely recognised for her work across Gaelic Games in Ireland, having supported some of the most successful and high-profile teams in the modern era. She was a member of Jim Gavin’s historic Dublin Senior Football backroom team during their unprecedented five-in-a-row All-Ireland winning run, and has also worked with the Dublin Ladies Football team, the Clare Senior Hurling team, and the Galway Senior Football team in preparation for All-Ireland Finals.

Alongside her work in elite sport, Anne-Marie is a sought-after executive coach and performance psychologist, supporting senior leaders, teams, and organisations to lead and perform effectively in complex, high-pressure environments. Her corporate work spans executive coaching, leadership development, team culture, wellbeing, and performance under pressure, and she has consulted with organisations including Ulster Bank, Santander, Mondelez, Musgrave, C&C, AIG, Northern Trust, Bristol Myers Squibb, LinkedIn, the HSE, and Johnson & Johnson.
